A downloadable Paper Mario mod
Welcome to The Paper Parable. You will play as Mario, and you will not play as Mario. Your choices will matter, and your choices will be meaningless. You will solve the mystery of Princess Peach's disappearance, and you will be forever left in the dark.
The Paper Parable is a fully custom remix of The Stanley Parable, with more than a double-handful of fully unique endings. Knowledge of The Stanley Parable is not necessary for playing this game.

Install instructions
You will need a (legally acquired) ROM of Paper Mario 64, in .z64 format. If your ROM is not in .z64 format, visit this link to convert it:

Next, visit the following link to combine your ROM and the provided MOD file into a patched ROM:

You can then play the modified ROM in an emulator of your choice. This version of Simple64 is recommended:

Why does it come in .mpeg format?
That's an error with the site; the two formats have similar markers. Rename it to .mod and it'll work fine.
Damn, if id seen this before i played it to holes in rom XD, actually nice romhack!
when i try to patch it says "Error: Unknown patch format" can someone pls helpedit: ok you have to use the eu version of the rom but now the patched rom isnt working in 2 different emulators (not simple64 :( my pc is too bad for it)
Is The Rom Used To Be USA Or EUR?
Really great mod.
I don't feel like I finished though. I got where it says "True Ending". But never got to use the wallet, or solve the mystery of the dark lotus, or the mysterious second narrator.
Also I heard comment about superguarding the pig, completing the final challenge, or waiting 50 minutes in jail. Is any of this truth?
What I really want to know is the wallet.
Buy anyway, the different paths are great. Like a said, great mod.
This mod is "pretty poggers" as the kids nowadays would say, I 100% recommend checking it out please it's really good thank you
